The HOW People are delighted to be able to offer this interactive session called Worry Well for teen girls age 11-16 years old.
Using the chat box this will be an interactive session focusing on understanding why we worry, what it feels like and how it can actually be helpful. We also look at ways we can handle our worries better and common ways in which we get this wrong sometimes. Jo walks us through the whole process giving your daughter the tools to walk away feeling she is able to be clearer on identifying worry and all that it brings and work out HOW to handle it a bit better.
The workshop is designed and delivered by not only a great supporter and friend of The HOW People, but the all round utterly lovely human being that is Joanna Williams.
Jo is a Health Care Profession Council Registered Occupational Therapist, Skilled and Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 20 years experience in Health, Well-being and Therapy Services.
The HOW People will be offering a number of workshops like this in the future. We are passionate about helping girls (and boys we hope soon) to develop their inner super hero, calm their worries and start believing in themselves. This session is a great way to start that conversation and to build the emotional tool box to keep going back to when times get tough.
