Your "friend of a friend's" place by the beach...
Welcome to Bryn Parc, your perfect spot for relaxing and exploring Gower.
£250-£300 per night, minimum 7 night stay only
Are you a bit sick of going to those same old slightly soulless holiday lets? Have you ever arrived somewhere and kicked yourself for forgetting something? Toys for the kids? A decent book? There is always something.
You go to make dinner and realise that you forgot to put olive oil on the shopping list?
There is no salt and pepper to be found, and why is there never enough loo roll!?
And where is the tea?! Why is there only ever one pretty useless teatowel?
And why are there NEVER any decent mugs?!
We feel the same.
This is our home, and we love it.
It’s not a perfect holiday let, it’s a home.
We live here with our two small kids, Rory who is 8 and Bibi who is 5, and our two dogs Otis and Humphrey, both 9 (hypoallergenic Cavapoos)
It’s full of books, toys, character and all of the things that you forget when you are going away for the week / weekend. The plates don’t match and the postman might be a bit surprised to see you, but you will feel at home the moment you walk through the door.
We love to travel as much as we can as a family, so wanted to give others families the opportunity to enjoy our home and our favourite places too. There is SO MUCH to do and see around Gower, so here is your chance to come and explore. We'll even leave you an OS Map noted with places to explore, and secret local tips!
Remember, this is not your standard holiday let. So if you want all drawers to be empty, no kids drawings on the fridge, and to feel like no one has been before you, then maybe this is not for you.
Our home will be immaculately clean, inviting and full of character with plenty of room for you to come and unpack, unwind, relax, enjoy and feel like you’ve always been here.

A bit more about our lovely home...
Downstairs:
Starting from the left, there is a very large kitchen and dining area, with family table, benches and a high chair. A fully equipped kitchen, with more cookbooks than you (or we!) will ever need! There is a sofa for sitting back and enjoying a cuppa or a glass of your favorite tipple, and a little colouring table to keep the little ones amused whilst you cook up a feast.
The kitchen basically has every gadget you can imagine. A family of very passionate foodies live here.
The kitchen leads through to a play room with a large sofa, TV, play kitchen, and more toys than I know what to do with. There is a child gate on the bottom of the stairs if you have little ones. If you are planning on traveling with a furry friend they are welcome downstairs in our home.
The play room then leads you down a corridor where you will find the office and following on from here you will find the second sitting room. We like to keep this a child and toy free zone in our family as there is a wood burning fire and a glass table in there. Please keep this in mind.
Coming out of this room and turning right you will find the downstairs ‘Jungle loo’ and shower (That’s what you get when you let your 5 year old choose a theme!) and last of all there is a large utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, and plenty of space to hang your washing, dry your boots and shove your beach gear.
Upstairs:
There are 5 bedrooms in this house
1 x King master bedroom with a large en suite
1 x Bunk bedroom with en suite
1 x Large bedroom with double bed (Use of upstairs family bathroom)
1 x Bedroom with double bed (use of upstairs family bathroom)
1 x Small bedroom with foldable chair bed (use of upstairs family bathroom)
1 x Large family bathroom with large bath and double shower
Outside
We have a driveway to the right of the house as you are looking at it, which fits two cars. There is also plenty of street side parking.
There is a front garden with (pretty neglected) veg patches (which you are more than welcome to enjoy if there is anything growing) and a secure side garden and patio with seating area and trampoline.
You are very welcome to use the back garden which has a large climbing frame, but children should be supervised because this area is a bit of a work in progress.
There is also a back patio accessible from the side of the house, or from doors from the ‘play room / sitting room’. It’s a lovely sun trap, and perfect place to watch the kids on the large climbing frame.
