New Normal

Uncategorized Apr 02, 2020

A week of ‘New Normal’ is nearly complete.

There have been big challenges for everyone, all over the planet.

Whoever and wherever we are, we have been affected by this worldwide pandemic.

We have many friends and colleagues who are small to medium business owners: retail, cafes, restaurant owners and freelancers/self employed who have had to face the reality of a very different world this week. Closing businesses, having to say goodbye to their hard built teams and feeling lost as to when things will change for the better.

Work has dried up for everyone. Life has been put on pause.

Meanwhile, an even bigger part of our lives is filled with over stretched and incredibly worried front line medical workers. Anaesthetists, GP’s, other hospital doctors, nurses, care workers. Lifelong friends and close relatives who are now putting their own lives and safety on the line for the rest of us.

To think a month ago it was life very much Operation Normal is mind blowing.

We have thought long and hard about what to do with our booked HOW events in light of the current, developing worldwide situation with Coronavirus. We have decided that the best course of action is to postpone all our live events and rearrange them when we get back to vague but slightly different normality.

HOW will be progressing to offer digital options over the coming months and we are working towards our Membership programme but these HOW Inspire evenings are SO powerful and inspiring for girls to attend LIVE and we know that no digital event will come close to replacing this. Also, it doesn’t feel like the right time to try and deliver an up beat, empowering evening when so many of us are struggling day to day.

Support is needed and wanted but in a slightly different way.

We will keep you posted with a new date as soon as we have one! If you have bought a ticket that will apply to the new date when we have one and you should receive an email from Eventbrite.

If you would prefer a refund then get in touch with us via email: [email protected]

Many thanks, stay safe and look after yourselves and your loved ones.
